The most common question I am asked is ‘What kind of snake would you recommend for a beginner?’
The answer is always the same.......... a Corn Snake.
Corn Snakes are probably the most commonly kept species of snake in the world and with very good reason.
They are very docile, easy to handle, don’t grow too big and are available in a wide range of colours and patterns.
There is a LOT of information readily available online about keeping Corn Snakes.
Do an online search for ‘Corn Snake care sheet’ and have a read through the results. This should give you a good basic understanding of what you’ll need and how to set things up.
If you still have any specific questions that haven’t been answered, please feel free to drop me a line at jim@petsnakes.co.uk and I’ll do my best to answer them.
