Hi, my name is Jim Lind and I live in East Central Scotland.

I bought my first snake in 1983.

I started doing public talks and offering help and advice via email in 1996.

The original Petsnakes web site appeared in 2000.

After the web site appeared I spent a lot of time talking to people both online and in person. This led to doing home visits, advising zoos and doing some stuff for television.

I was also invited to do talks at Glasgow and Edinburgh vets schools on exotic animal husbandry and the common problems that people have.

I have often been asked if I don’t get bored answering the same questions over and over. The simple answer is ‘No’. The questions may be the same but the people are all different and I really enjoy that variety.

It certainly beats watching the telly.  ;o)
