Hi, my name is Norrie.

I have always fancied having a snake from a very young age but was unable to get one until last year when my wife asked me what would I like for Christmas and to my surprise on the 24th of December we were in at the pet shop getting some crickets for my spiders when the wife told me to choose the snake that I wanted.

That is when I saw Monty the Royal Python, just over 3 months old. He is now my pride & joy. The staff at Rintoul’s were great and gave me all the information I needed to get started, I had Monty. 

Two weeks after I got him I got home after finishing nightshift. I looked in on Monty and found that he had escaped. So I hunted the whole house high & low for 10 hours with no luck, until thanks to my cat Smokey. He kept on going to the TV unit and to my suprise there was Monty, snug as a bug in a rug in a half inch gap under the unit.
