I first got into snakes when I was at  my friend's house.

We were sitting in his bedroom looking at one of his snake books (I wasn't paying much attention) when he said "Calum, how cool would it be to have a snake like that?" (it was a Corn Snake) "Aye. It looks kind of cute, for a snake.) I replied.

All night that picture stuck in my head so the next day I did as much research as I could to see how much they ate, how big they get and so on.

Then I found this really friendly looking website called petsnakes.co.uk (finally, a UK website :-)) so I called through my Mum to see some of the snake pictures and she said "Aww, they look quite nice.... BUT YOU'RE NOT GETTING ONE! but about four months later (having gathered all the information I could and had proven that I knew my stuff) I did. I got a really cute baby Corn from a breeder in Currie called Brian Mason.

My snake is about 9 months old now and is called Domino and I'm so, so happy that I got him. :-)
