When my son asked if he could get a pet snake, we were a little apprehensive never having kept anything other than cats, dogs, hamsters, etc. We were offered a 2 year old Corn Snake (Sid) from a colleague and after
discussing how to care for it, we decided to get him.
After we got him he wouldn't eat and after 4/5 weeks we were extremely concerned for his well being, we spotted Jim's card in a local pet shop and decided to give him a call for advise and without hesitation Jim
offered to visit our home and check out the snake and set-up.
We were relieved to find that Sid was fine, but the set-up we had him in could be improved in several ways. With the help of this advise we built him a new Vivarium with 2 hides, improved temperature control,
branches to climb, etc and since introducing him the his new home at Christmas, he has never missed a meal.
Sid is now active, day and night and is always climbing through the branches and appears to be enjoying his new home, so for all your help and advise we would like to say a big thanks to you Jim, you are a welcome
friend to all presant and future reptile owners, with the selfless work you do.
Regards,
Gordon, Jackie, Grant, Rachel, and especially Sid
