Reptiles are still relatively new pets in the UK and it can be quite difficult to find a vet who has experience of them.

Contact your local vet and ask if they have any experience of reptiles or can recommend one who has.

Get a contact number and keep it safe, just incase.

If we all at least phone our vets asking if they can cater for reptiles they will begin to realise that it’s maybe time to learn.  ;o)

As the hobby grows more and more vets are adding reptiles to their list. Hopefully, within 10yrs or so, nearly all vets will be able to cater for sick or injured reptiles.
